8th National Traders’ Welfare Board Meeting in Delhi Highlights ‘Vocal for Local’ Initiative

The 8th meeting of the National Traders’ Welfare Board was held in New Delhi yesterday, chaired by Board Chairman Sunil J. Singhi. The Commerce and Industry Ministry said, the Board emphasized the importance of the Vocal for Local initiative to boost indigenous industries and promote locally made product. Addressing the meeting, Joint Secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Sanjiv, highlighted the significant role of the retail trade sector in the Indian economy.
