West Bengal: RG Kar Medical College and Hospital principal Sandip Ghosh resigned

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the rape and murder case of a on duty lady doctor at R G Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata will be handed over to CBI if the police can not come to conclusion by next Sunday.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today met the family of the deceased doctor at their residence at Sodepur in Kolkata. Mamata has told the media that the parents of the doctor doubt that more persons may be involved in the crime. The Chief Minister has informed that if the  police can not come to a conclusion in this case by next Sunday then the state government will hand over the case to CBI. Meanwhile  The principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital Mr Sandip Ghosh has resigned from service today.
